First off, I really like the title I know what it's like to be in a constant state of change
I like the way the intro is really short here, and then it immediately starts a buildup. There's a nice slow build, but it keeps evolving enough to keep my interest.
You've got a really phat bassline in here, man, and that I dig a lot. The melodies seem more poignant than on "2 Weeks," too. Even the 4-on-the-floor-ness of this thing doesn't bother me, and that's saying a lot, as you know!
There are a lot of cool synth sounds in here. The more organic drums that come in around -4:40 or so are an unexpected twist, and I like what the pads and the kick are doing around there. The vocal samples don't really do anything for me. The acid synth that comes in around -3:45 or so is very cool!
I would have liked to have heard a bigger climax toward the end, but solid track, man, I'm digging it

bassline! the extra sounds certainly make a difference - the poppy sounding synth has a cool punch to it - mux has the description spot on digging this!

I got the inspiration for this song when I heard a really cool song on the radio. My local alternative radio station has an electronic show on Fridays. That's how I came up with the bassline. Personally, I think it's my best song yet, and I'm quite proud of it. Glad you guys like it!
Mux: what can I say, I'm a huge fan of conga/bongo sounds in techno!

i really appreciate that the bassline is more about the space between the notes than the notes themselves, that's what grows funkiness. i dig the flammy stuff you throw in on the kick - breaking up the quarters. the hats are deceptively varied. that synth that came in around 2:15 is really cool, it's got a bit of detune like a steel drum. i agree the organic drums section is really sweet. the pads give the impression of smoke clearing for the remainder of the song.

i think yeah, the bass makes this track...but it kept me hooked for 9 minutes so has to b good. the congas sound pretty nice once the beat kicks in...but the bass is brilliant. i dunno about that plucky sound that is played a bit too much imo, and that voice in the middle, i dunno u here a lot of that sort of voice but i dont really like it. apart from that its great and that bassline keeps u hooked right til the end.

The bass line is very powerfull and captured me immediately. There is a constant state of change in this song It's got that idling groove feeling to it with well spaced instruments and unexpected breaks and changes, without breaking consitency.Oh and the bongo drums rule!!! I dont like the claps and the brush in the last 3 minutes of the song, but then ive never been fond of claps, because of their popularity in 90's club music.
The little tune also feels like it carries on a little long, and it would have been cool to hear that melody evolve a little over time, either by adding/changing notes or adding fx/filters/phaser/flanger.
Overall great song. If I were a club owner I wouldn't hesitate to play it!
